Pole Star implemented a solution utilizing over 4,000 BLE-enabled badges that staff could press to instantly trigger an alert. The system computed the staff member's real-time location with room-level precision by leveraging the existing HPE Aruba access points. This data was integrated via API into the hospital's established safety systems, providing security teams with immediate, actionable destinations. The solution from Pole Star significantly reduced intervention times, improved staff safety, and provided full coverage across both complex hospital sites without requiring massive infrastructure changes.
