The Village of Skokie used The National Community Survey (The NCS) by Polco to understand resident opinions on community livability and government services, including public transportation.

Using Polco's survey results, Skokie identified key priorities and made data-informed decisions, such as increasing road resurfacing. This led to over 80% of residents approving of the bus and transit services, ratings more than 30% higher than the national average, and won Skokie a 2022 Voice of the People Award for Excellence in Mobility.
