The city of Clive, Iowa partnered with Polco to regularly gather resident feedback through The National Community Survey (The NCS). Their challenge was to maintain exceptionally high resident satisfaction and guide thoughtful development while the city continued to grow and its infrastructure aged.

Using Polco's survey service, Clive identified key areas for strategic investment in infrastructure maintenance and enforced rigorous development requirements. This data-driven approach resulted in a 98% resident satisfaction rate, with 95% of residents rating Clive as a good place to live. For its efforts, Clive received the 2021 Voice of the People Award for Excellence in Community Design, an award presented by Polco that is based directly on resident feedback.
