How C.H. Guenther Reduced Production Downtime

C.H. Guenther, a large food manufacturer, was struggling with shop-floor communication and recurring production issues at its Pioneer Frozen Foods plant in South Carolina. Before using Poka, operators relied mostly on radios and face-to-face updates, which made it hard to track problems and led to downtime slipping through the cracks.

With Poka’s digital work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and call-for-help features on iPads, C.H. Guenther made issues visible, improved maintenance response, and gave operators the information they needed to solve problems themselves. This helped permanently eliminate a recurring packaging-line issue that had caused about 40 hours of lost production time per year, and it also cut what could have been four or more hours of downtime on a new workstation down to about one hour.
