Bosch’s Rigorous KPI Tracking Sets Strong Foundation for Enterprise DX

Bosch, a global engineering company with over 440 locations and 260 production facilities, faced the challenge of enterprise-scale digital transformation: they needed a connected worker solution that could meet corporate governance requirements while still supporting local priorities and rapid site onboarding. To address this, Bosch partnered with Poka to deploy a connected worker platform across its manufacturing sites.

Poka was piloted at Bosch’s large Penang power tools plant in 2019, where the platform supported shift handovers, digital work instructions, best-practice sharing, skills and training, and more. By rigorously tracking KPIs during the pilot, Bosch secured corporate buy-in—achieving a 54% increase in Mean Time Between Repair and an 8% direct productivity gain—and is now scaling Poka across 12 manufacturing divisions and hundreds of plants.
