UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, the largest academic medical center in the Rocky Mountain region, sought to solve the challenge of complex indoor and outdoor navigation for its patients and visitors. To elevate the patient experience and reduce the reliance on staff for directions, UCHealth partnered with Pointr to implement its indoor wayfinding solution powered by Deep Location technology.

Pointr provided an integrated solution within the UCHealth mobile app, offering turn-by-turn navigation from a patient's home to the closest parking area and then to their final appointment location inside the hospital. The technology seamlessly integrated with the Epic MyChart system for automated directions. As a result, Pointr successfully simplified navigation across the large campus, significantly improving the patient experience and reducing anxiety for visitors trying to find their way.
