UI Redesign of Consumer Care App Positions Providers, Payors to Improve Patient Engagement, Encourage Health Management

Medecision, a leading population health management company, needed to improve its Consumer Care patient-engagement app so providers and payors could better drive completion of health assessments, deliver educational videos, and enable action plans across desktop, tablet, and mobile while also addressing administrative user needs. To meet this challenge, Medecision engaged PointClear Solutions to redesign the Consumer Care user interface.

PointClear Solutions conducted user interviews, user research, clinical workflow documentation and delivered a responsive interactive and visual redesign to improve the experience for both patients and administrators and support multiple form factors. The redesign was successfully implemented, positioning providers and payors to improve patient engagement and health management, and has led to ongoing collaboration between PointClear Solutions and Medecision on subsequent projects.
