Birchbox partnered with POD Staffing to launch its first UK bricks-and-mortar pop-up on Carnaby Street, London. As a high-profile debut for the US beauty brand, Birchbox needed a capable retail team that could represent its brand ethos and support a wide range of partner brands in-store.

POD Staffing ran casting days to handpick an experienced beauty squad and delivered in-depth face-to-face training to turn them into “discovery specialists.” The pop-up was so successful that it was extended three times and ran for seven months in total, with POD Staffing training 12 staff, keeping the store open for 603 days overall, and helping the campaign win Gold for Staffing and the Grand Prix at the IPM Cogs Awards.
