The City of San Diego engaged PMWeb Inc. to support its Pure Water program, a multi-year infrastructure initiative totaling $480 million and part of managing 1,000+ annual projects. The Public Utilities Department needed an easy-to-navigate SaaS construction program management system that could integrate with existing systems (SAP, Primavera P6, ESRI GIS, PlanetBids, PRISM) and tie into finance, procurement and CIP workflows.

PMWeb Inc. configured and implemented multiple PMWeb modules — including Cost Management, Project Management, Scheduling and custom forms — and prioritized SAP integration so stakeholders have up-to-date budget and cost data. The integrated City–PMWeb team is nearing completion of Cost Management to support in‑progress design contracts and will roll out Project Management before construction; once fully implemented, PMWeb Inc. will enable the program team to manage and report on all active and planned Pure Water projects.
