Liberty Hospital Undergoes Retrospective Recovery to Improve Cash Flow
Liberty Hospital, a 250-bed community hospital in Kansas City, faced limited staffing and growing complexity in managed care contracts that left reimbursement variances unrecognized. To close these gaps and improve cash flow, the hospital licensed PMMC’s contract management system, PMMC CONTRACT PRO, and engaged PMMC for additional retrospective recovery work to identify underpaid managed care claims.

PMMC’s recovery team identified more than $2.1 million in potential recoveries and collected over $1.6 million, accelerating cash recovery, improving contract performance and supporting negotiation efforts.
