Online Academy for Participation Councils

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science faced the challenge of strengthening the position of school participation councils (MRs) by improving their content knowledge. As MR members hold voluntary positions, they struggled to attend physical training. The ministry sought a flexible, innovative solution, which they found by launching a challenge that was answered by the vendor, Pluvo, and its online learning platform.

Pluvo implemented its e-learning and community-building solution to create the "MR academy." This online platform provides interactive training and a library of information, making it easier for MR members to learn about complex subjects and communicate with each other. The solution allows members to upskill effectively on their own time. The academy was scheduled to launch in early 2020 with plans for the number of available training courses to continually grow.
