Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant, a Tennessee utility serving 22,000 customers across more than 100 square miles, faced recurring sewer overflows, violations, and rising energy demands as erratic storms and wet weather increased influent flow. Plutoshift’s GROUNDED AI™ performance monitoring platform was used to help the plant manage this challenge by combining plant data with weather patterns and existing SCADA information.

Plutoshift implemented a web-based dashboard that forecast influent flow, predicted aeration blower and pump performance, and surfaced actionable alerts for operators based on preferred risk levels. With no hardware installation required, the plant gained proactive visibility that helped reduce reactive work, improve treatment stability, avoid overflow violations, and better plan operator schedules while lowering energy consumption.
