Zupee, an Indian online gaming company, wanted to improve key in-app metrics such as KYC completion, transaction activity, and retention without relying on engineering resources. To do this, it used Plotline to personalize its app experience and communicate with users directly inside the app.
With Plotline, Zupee launched more than 20 in-app campaigns, including a contextual floating button to drive KYC completion and a pinned banner with a scratch card offer to encourage transactions. The results were strong: users who saw the KYC floater were about 300% more likely to complete KYC, and the transaction campaign increased users making transactions by 10%, helping Zupee turn its app into a growth channel.
