Rushmoor Borough Council engages 470 residents for Civic Quarter regeneration with PLMR
PLMR supported Rushmoor Borough Council and its development partner, Hill, with a community engagement program for the regeneration of the Farnborough Civic Quarter. The challenge was to undertake comprehensive consultation for this significant project, which planned to deliver new homes, a leisure center, council offices, and public spaces.
PLMR, through its work with Snapdragon Consulting, delivered the solution over a three-year period. This involved multiple consultation rounds, including a virtual exhibition, online surveys, in-person events, and advertising, which gathered around 470 responses. The result was the completion of a Statement of Community Involvement, paving the way for the planning application's submission.
