Phibro Animal Health Corporation, a global manufacturing leader with operations in more than 15 countries and over 900 employees, needed a single solution to help IT understand both network performance and security issues. The company relied on MPLS and DMVPN connectivity for its in-house ERP system, but had difficulty diagnosing slowdowns, predicting the impact of network changes, and making complex traffic data easy for different roles to understand.

Plixer’s Scrutinizer, with Flow Analytics, was implemented to monitor nearly 40 devices and more than 125 interfaces across the network, providing deep NetFlow analysis and traffic visibility for both performance and security. With Plixer, Phibro could quickly identify congestion or outages, validate a move from in-house email to cloud-hosted email, and size bandwidth upgrades appropriately, while enabling non-specialists to understand the data and resolve issues faster.
