The customer, Intertours Reisen & Events, faced the challenge of advancing digitization in travel management by moving clients away from an inefficient "spend and reimburse" model for business trips. To provide a modern payment solution and minimize billing errors, they turned to the vendor Pliant and its Card-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform to launch their new product, Intertours Pay.

Pliant provided a white-label solution, developing the entire card platform for Intertours Pay with minimal required effort from the customer. This allowed Intertours to achieve a rapid market entry, maintain their corporate design, and focus entirely on their clients' needs. The results included digitizing customer processes and effectively complementing Intertours' service offering with a future-proof payment method that covers a previously unaddressed aspect of travel management.
