Pacur, an ISO 9001–certified custom sheet extruder in Oshkosh, WI, makes polyester, copolyester and polypropylene products for medical, food and electronics packaging with a focus on sustainable materials. Leadership sought to improve operational control, move from a legacy on‑premise shop‑floor application to a cloud‑based manufacturing and quality system, and solve challenges around scheduling, in‑process quality tracking, traceability and ISO compliance.

Working with implementation partner Control+M, Pacur deployed the Plex cloud platform with a focused change‑management and training program. The digitized MES and quality checksheets eliminated data silos, sped reporting and decision‑making, and supported growth—cutting the monthly close from 15–20 days to five, reducing invoice turnaround from two weeks to one day, improving raw‑material buying, increasing accountability and enabling faster onboarding and expansion.
