Inteva Products’ Salonta Operations in Romania is part of a global automotive supplier that makes cables, interior products, latches and window regulators. The site struggled with an aging ERP that had poor visualization, cumbersome navigation and slow reporting, which made onboarding difficult, required deep user expertise, and limited cross‑department visibility and decision-making.

In 2015 Salonta implemented the cloud-based Plex ERP (the first Inteva European site to do so), supported by an in‑house U.S. rollout team. The modern interface and real-time data improved training and communication, enabled better tracking of inventory, orders, materials and scrap, lowered carrying costs, and gave managers a unified view of production and finance — with plans to expand into additional modules like maintenance.
