Eurotranciatura Mexico, a Queretaro‑based supplier of electrical steel laminations for motors and generators, was running on an aging AS/400 system as it doubled in size. The machine‑intensive business faced poor traceability, rising customer quality demands, frequent design changes, heavy upfront material investment and under‑utilized equipment, so the company needed a modern ERP to support growth and tighten production control.

Eurotranciatura implemented the Plex cloud ERP with local partner SCM Malagón & Asociados (go‑live January 2017), gaining real‑time traceability, statistical quality control and production management. Results include scrap cut from 2.5% to 1.5%, inventory accuracy up from ~85% to ~99%, equipment efficiency up ~5% (non‑automated 65→>70%, automated 85→90%), elimination of premium freight (~0.7% of sales) and on‑time delivery near 100%, with more than 100 daily Plex users.
