Downeast Cider, a Boston-based leader in U.S. craft cider producing about 125,000 barrels a year, outgrew its small-business tools and relied on roughly 50 spreadsheets to run operations. The lack of formal processes, inventory control and lot traceability threatened quality and scalability, so the company engaged Revolution Group to modernize its systems.

Working with Revolution Group, Downeast implemented the Plex Manufacturing Execution System with a strong focus on change management and training, going live in April 2023 without stopping production.
