Cast Aluminum Solutions (CAS) is a Batavia, Illinois manufacturer of standard and custom cast-aluminum heated parts for the food service, medical device and semiconductor industries. After being acquired by LV2 Equity Partners, CAS needed to move off an outdated batch-driven ERP, gain real-time visibility, and maximize profits with limited IT and capital resources while improving on-time delivery and traceability.

CAS implemented the Plex cloud ERP with implementation partner Plante Moran, shifting to real-time shop-floor tracking and tighter inventory controls. The change delivered measurable gains — inventory accuracy rose to 99% (from ~60%), reworks and discrepancies fell, order flow improved and sales grew an average 25% in the first four months — positioning CAS to pursue its 20% annual growth plan.
