Airsorted, a fast-growing host management service founded in 2015, faced a classic scaling problem: a manual, slow out‑of‑pocket expense and claims process, only one company card based in London that didn’t serve a distributed workforce, and limited visibility into where money was being spent across teams and offices. To address these issues they chose Pleo’s corporate cards and expense platform to give employees local payment flexibility while keeping control and oversight centrally.

Pleo rolled out virtual and plastic cards, spending limits, receipt matching, a real‑time dashboard and accounting integrations across the business. The result was faster, real‑time expense reviews, empowered employees who can pay on behalf of hosts without centralized bottlenecks, and clearer analytics for finance to attribute spend by team, office and person. Airsorted’s leadership — including Global Head of People Anna, who said they’d implement Pleo “in a heartbeat” — also reported no instances of card misuse after rollout.
