6point6, a London-based technology consultancy with around 120 employees and travelling consultants, struggled with slow, paper-based expense reporting: purchases on traditional spend cards required retroactive manager approvals and receipts were stored and submitted manually, leaving finance processes running six weeks to two months behind.
