Flux is Flux, a startup that “liberates the world’s receipt data” by digitising itemised receipts into banking apps. Their challenge was internal: employees needed an equally effortless way to spend company money without relying on personal funds, manual expense claims or shared bank cards — processes that created friction for staff and extra work for finance. Pleo was introduced as the vendor solution, offering company cards and a mobile app for business spending.

Pleo issued every employee a Pleo card and provided an app with instant notifications, fingerprint access and photo-attached receipts, removing the classic manual expense-claim workflow and simplifying reconciliation. The result: Pleo became embedded in Flux’s processes (everyone gets a card), cut down finance admin, smoothed spending on trips (no FX headaches in Tuscany) and helped Flux move closer to full automation of their accounting workflows. Pleo is explicitly credited with making company spending effortless at Flux.
