Tinder wanted to celebrate International Women’s Day 2017 and mobilize its largely millennial female user base to support women’s and girls’ causes worldwide, so it enlisted Pledgeling to power the #FundHerCause campaign. Pledgeling provided the campaign technology — a dedicated microsite (tinder.fund), a donation widget and an impact calculator — to drive awareness and simplify giving for 12 selected nonprofits.
Pledgeling implemented the donation infrastructure and charity connectivity that enabled immediate, measurable impact: the #FundHerCause effort became the #1 trending hashtag in NY, SF and LA with 360M+ media impressions and raised $255,967 for 12 nonprofits around the world. Tinder credited Pledgeling’s platform and large network of charities for the campaign’s reach and fundraising success.
