Uniqlo - Customer Case Study

UNIQLO engaged PlayNetwork to create a destination retail experience for the launch of its three-story, 90,000-square-foot North American flagship in New York City. Tasked with synchronizing infrastructure and in-store experience, UNIQLO tapped PlayNetwork’s Systems Advantage team to design and deliver an immersive audio/video solution for the store opening.

PlayNetwork managed internal and external teams to install a massive AV system — 300 video screens, 45 1'×4' video walls, four 4'×4' video walls, custom mounts, 175 speakers (including integrated “hidden” speakers) and over 8,000 feet of cabling — plus custom LED features at storefronts, glass elevators and an escalator “tunnel ticker.” The result is a consistent, high‑impact sensory environment that enhances movement and product storytelling, and a fully documented, repeatable solution that PlayNetwork has scaled to stores in Paris, London and 20 locations across Asia and can leverage for UNIQLO’s U.S. expansion.
