Houlihan’s - Customer Case Study

Houlihan's, a U.S. casual dining chain with a strong focus on music, partnered with PlayNetwork to differentiate its brand and deepen guest engagement. PlayNetwork was asked to create a multi-platform digital music solution, providing music curation and licensing, in-restaurant playback hardware (MC500), and an upgraded HTML5 web radio player optimized for cross-device streaming.

PlayNetwork curated a custom soundtrack (indie pop, modern soul, adult alternative and light electronica), deployed it in all Houlihan's locations via the MC500 and extended the experience online through CURIOStream and the HTML5 player, plus a monthly "H-List" of top songs. As a result, Houlihan's achieved full in-store and mobile music coverage, increased customer interaction and music discovery, and reinforced its identity as a trendsetting, music-forward brand.
