Adidas turned to PlayNetwork to bring the brand to life sonically at its four‑floor, 45,000 sq. ft. adidas NYC global flagship and across U.S. retail concepts. Faced with the challenge of translating creativity, sustainability and authenticity into an immersive in‑store experience, Adidas engaged PlayNetwork for a branded music strategy, curated playlists and high‑fidelity audio/visual systems tailored to multiple store formats.
PlayNetwork implemented segmented branded music strategies (Originals, Outlet, Performance, Flagship), music curation by dedicated supervisors, and a sophisticated multi‑zone sound system with cloud‑connected hardware for remote management at the stadium‑style flagship. The result is a locally relevant, campaign‑aligned soundtrack—including exclusive artists—that enhances the consumer experience and reinforces Adidas’s brand narrative; PlayNetwork did not disclose specific performance metrics but the program is credited with setting the tone for a more consumer‑driven retail experience.
