David’s Bridal Improves iPad Experience for Store Associates

David’s Bridal worked with PlayerLync to solve the challenge of getting product information, sales resources, and SOPs into the hands of store managers and associates without overloading store networks. The company needed a simple, cost-effective way to distribute content that could be accessed offline at the point of customer interaction, while avoiding the bandwidth strain of cloud-based file sharing and improving control over secure content.

Using PlayerLync’s Mobile Content Management Platform, David’s Bridal enabled admins to push content to mobile devices across stores, schedule downloads, and store videos and other files locally on devices. PlayerLync helped reduce network impact, simplify content distribution, and create a consistent experience for associates; the solution is used on 1,600 tablets in 330 stores by more than 5,000 employees.
