Opigno, a Swiss-based learning management system provider, needed a simpler way to offer managed hosting as demand for remote workforce training surged. As the company moved from an open-source Drupal-based LMS distribution to a service-based model, it wanted a cloud setup that would be easy for customers to deploy, scale globally, and support without requiring Opigno to build a large internal infrastructure team.

Platform.sh provided the cloud hosting solution, enabling Opigno to keep its application in Git, add only minor adjustments plus an App YAML file, and launch one-click subscriptions through the Platform.sh API. The result was automated provisioning across 25 global grid regions, faster and more secure feature and security updates, and access to global 24x7 infrastructure support. Opigno said it was ready to double its market share and then double it again.
