PMI Munich Chapter e.V. executes its projects with Projectplace

The PMI Munich Chapter, part of the Project Management Institute—the world’s largest project management association with 400,000+ members across 250+ chapters—relies on volunteer project leaders to run local activities and large events like the biennial PM Summit. Because work is done on an honorary basis, the chapter needed a practical, proven collaboration and project-management tool to keep volunteers coordinated, informed and able to manage resources across multiple simultaneous projects.

The chapter adopted Projectplace as its central platform, using Kanban boards, Gantt views, document sharing and resource-management features (with cloud integrations) and providing training and best-practice templates to volunteers. The result has been greater transparency, smoother collaboration, easier resource tracking and more reliable delivery of events and initiatives such as the PM Summit.
