Implementing an international ERP project with Projectplace

Deutsche Leasing AG, Germany’s largest non-proprietary leasing company, needed to centrally manage its international IT infrastructure and coordinate managers across 22 countries for a planned four‑year ERP rollout affecting about 500 staff. High data‑security requirements, cross‑border communication and dozens of country‑specific adaptations made project planning and coordination highly complex.

The company adopted Projectplace, a web‑based collaboration and project‑management platform for secure document sharing, online meetings, Gantt charts, milestones and kanban boards, with controlled access for external consultants. After several months of use they completed multiple smaller projects and now plan the ERP rollout across all 22 countries with roughly 115 active collaborators, achieving better traceability, centralized documentation and faster, more reliable international coordination.
