Fresenius Medical Care, a global health‑care company serving patients in 150 countries with more than 70,000 employees, faced fragmented processes within its Global Manufacturing Quality & Supply (GMQS) function. Siloed departments, regionalized methodologies (from Agile to waterfall), inconsistent tools and low project management maturity created poor communication, limited visibility and inefficient workflows that hindered global collaboration.
GMQS implemented Planview’s project portfolio management and project‑centric work delivery (Enterprise One and Projectplace) to create “just enough” governance, standardized templates, common reporting language and dashboards. The integrated solution streamlined tools and processes across regions, increased transparency for leadership and project teams, raised project manager capability, and reduced complexity across more than 50 production sites in 20+ countries.
