Florida Virtual Campus Uses Projectplace to Manage Projects, People and Portfolio

Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC) is a statewide K–20 education service that needed to overhaul its website quickly to meet new legislative mandates and better serve students. Led by PMO project manager Susanne Korta, the team faced a compressed multi-month timeline, organizational change and a dispersed team of staff, stakeholders, vendors and external designers—creating an urgent need for a central collaboration and project-management solution.

FLVC piloted Projectplace as a centralized hub for plans, tasks, documents and conversations, which was quickly adopted across teams and vendors. The tool’s Plan and Boards features improved task tracking and real-time communication, reducing email clutter; 90% of users reported better team communication and 100% could access documents (up from 30%). The new website launched on schedule, and Projectplace integration with Planview Enterprise further strengthened portfolio and resource management.
