Aristocrat Changes the Game by Giving Every Employee the Opportunity to Solve Challenges

Aristocrat, a global leader in gaming with about 7,000 employees, faced the challenge of harnessing its rapidly growing, diverse workforce to identify opportunities, solve business and cultural problems, and anticipate future gaming trends. The company wanted every employee—regardless of role, location, or paygrade—to have a reliable way to share ideas and be part of the innovation process.

Aristocrat launched the thinkBIGGER accelerator using the Planview Spigit innovation platform to collect, vet, and collaborate on ideas across languages and regions with transparent tracking and measurement. In the first three months the program produced thousands of ideas from five challenges, yielded multiple prototypes, increased employee engagement and empowerment, and gave leaders data to prioritize and scale the most promising innovations.
