Bouygues Energies & Services, a Bouygues Construction subsidiary operating in seven countries, delivers network infrastructure, electrical/mechanical/HVAC engineering and facility management. The rise of public-private partnerships shifted responsibility for long-term technical management to facility managers, forcing Bouygues to move from short-term, single-service contracts to integrated, long-term, owner-style services — creating the need for a more capable software platform.

In 2008 Bouygues implemented Planon to provide a multi-client environment, accurate contract-level reporting and a user-friendly interface for staff and clients. The project met deadlines, delivered measurable ROI and has been expanded with new modules across property, maintenance, employee services and space planning (including CAD), improving efficiency, enabling innovation and preparing the business for IoT, AI and other future capabilities.
