The Aerospace Corporation, an international aerospace manufacturer, faced challenges in ensuring the quality of its new Public Cloud Platform (PCP) and its API. With a small team new to Agile, they lacked dedicated testing expertise and a sustainable strategy for the frequent regression testing required by their complex, constantly changing AWS-based environment. They engaged vendor Planit to help design and implement a solution.

Planit’s consultants developed a tailored Test Strategy and Automation Approach, creating an API test automation framework with approximately 200 test cases. This provided a repeatable regression testing solution that identified and fixed key issues before launch, assuring quality for the platform, API, and documentation. The solution reduced the cost of building an in-house capability and gave the aerospace corporation the confidence to proceed with its next development phase.
