Case Study: Edith Cowan University achieves improved Agile delivery with Planit

A Planit Case Study

Preview of the Edith Cowan University Case Study

How ECU improved their delivery following an Agile Process Optimisation, leading to highly engaged, performing, and collaborative delivery teams

Edith Cowan University (ECU) required a fresh delivery approach for its large-scale Service Excellence program and faced challenges adopting Agile methodologies due to its long-established use of Waterfall. The university engaged vendor Planit, a trusted partner since 2014, to provide Agile services and staff augmentation to transform their project delivery.

Planit implemented an Agile Process Optimisation (APO), providing Agile coaching, Scrum Masters, and tailored workshops to establish a new framework. This included introducing practices like the "3 Amigos" technique and defining roles using Jira and Confluence. The solution from Planit resulted in highly engaged, empowered, and performing delivery teams that work collaboratively with business representatives, making the program a flag bearer for Agile success at ECU.
