EVVA Sicherheitstechnologie GmbH, an Austrian family business and one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of locking and security technologies, faced the challenge of managing complex, cross‑departmental and multi‑site product development projects while preserving project know‑how and improving transparency and control. To address this, EVVA evaluated and selected Planforge (formerly ONEPOINT) project management software for its intuitive web interface, project controlling, availability scheduling, risk management and low installation/training overhead.

Planforge implemented a standardized, browser‑based project management platform with features such as time tracking, automatic project reports, reusable templates, checklists, pipeline and risk management, plus focused short training sessions. Within six months the solution was rolled out across R&D, production, marketing, sales, service, IT and organization development; today more than 80 project and subproject managers use Planforge daily, producing faster, reliable status reports, better resource assignment and coordination across locations, improved effort documentation and progressively more accurate project plans.
