Denticon Practice Management Centralizes DSO Operations for CollectiveCare Dental

CollectiveCare Dental, a dental service organization founded in 2015 with 10 locations, was grappling with multiple server-based practice management systems that made referrals, reporting, payment processing and access to patient records slow and error-prone. After vetting options, CollectiveCare selected Planet DDS and its cloud-based Denticon practice management platform to standardize operations across the DSO.

Planet DDS implemented Denticon beginning in 2018 and now supports all 10 offices with centralized, permission-based data access. The solution eliminated unreliable onsite servers and duplicate patient charts, enabled seamless interoffice referrals, moved billing to digital statements and payment links (removing the need to print and mail statements), and allowed centralized RCM without hiring extra staff. Denticon’s SmartAssist and patient portal sped workflows and online forms, improving the patient experience (reported as 100% better) and giving executives real-time visibility into schedule production and performance.
