The University of Kentucky renovated its Marksbury Players First Suite and Healy Family Locker Room to strengthen recruiting, team cohesion and player development. To deliver high-impact visual and interactive experiences, the school partnered with Planar Systems, deploying Planar UltraRes Series 4K touch displays and a Planar Clarity Matrix LCD video wall (alongside Leyard CarbonLight CLA LED ribbon displays) to showcase program history, rosters and multimedia content.

Planar Systems implemented a three‑display UltraRes interactive media wall for recruiting, a 4x4 Clarity Matrix video wall in the entertainment area to foster camaraderie, and a curved Leyard CarbonLight CLA LED ribbon above lockers for player-specific content. The installations improved presentation quality and engagement — coaches call the UltraRes wall “a key focus of our recruitment efforts,” staff report players began spending more time together in the suite after it opened, and university leaders linked the new communal space to a turnaround in the team’s season.
