The University of Colorado opened The Center for Community Dining and needed a high-impact digital signage solution to guide and attract students in its largest dining hall. Planners and integrator Digital Roads specified a nearly seamless, high-definition video wall using Planar Systems' Planar Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System to meet the design and visibility challenge posed by an eight-wide by two-high array mounted 15 feet above the floor.

Planar Systems supplied a nearly 200-square-foot display made from sixteen 46-inch LCD panels (8x2) that delivered near-perfect alignment and broad content flexibility; the integrator reported the system installed and went live more smoothly than previous video walls. The Planar Systems installation presents mixed graphics and video that captures student attention, communicates campus events, and accommodates virtually any visual content while meeting the facility’s aesthetic and functional goals.
