The United Nations renovated La Salle Des Emirats at its Palace of Nations in Geneva and needed a modern, highly reliable presentation platform that would also respect the room’s cultural architecture. Planar Systems supplied the LED display solution, implemented using Leyard-branded products (Leyard TVH Series and Leyard CarbonLight CLM Series) to deliver both a main video wall and a unique ceiling installation that had to perform continuously for daily delegate sessions.

Planar Systems installed a 126-array Leyard TVH Series fine‑pitch (1.6 mm) video wall as the main presentation canvas—bezel-free, 800 nits, 3,000:1 contrast, 33,488 pixels/sq ft, redundant power and 24x7 operation with a ~50,000‑hour life—and 437 Leyard CarbonLight CLM10.4 mesh panels for a lightweight, ceiling‑mounted “Emirati sky” (each panel ~10.6 lb) arranged in four quadrants. The result is crisp, seamless visual clarity for speakers and delegates, easy maintenance access, continuous operational reliability for daily meetings, and a striking architectural feature that helps establish the Palais des Nations as a landmark—delivered by Planar Systems.
