Thibodaux Regional Medical Center - Customer Case Study

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center opened a 9,000‑square‑foot Wellness Education Center to improve community health and needed a way to educate and inspire behavior change for an estimated 120,000 annual visitors. To create an engaging, interactive experience rather than static statistics, the medical center selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix MultiTouch LCD Video Walls to showcase personal stories, wellness content, and wayfinding in a high‑traffic, brightly lit space.

Planar Systems installed three 3x3 Clarity Matrix MultiTouch LCD Video Walls (12' x 7.5' each) with Planar ERO bonded glass, six‑point touch interactivity, synchronized playback and centrally racked electronics for easy serviceability. The video walls increased visitor engagement across tours, presentations and wayfinding and supported creative content (including 12K scenic backdrops); the Wellness Center’s fitness membership jumped to about 3,500 at opening—well above the original projection of 1,400—demonstrating measurable impact.
