The Panorama Awards - Customer Case Study

The Panorama Awards is a biennial broadcast industry gala held in Madrid to honor technical and creative excellence. For the 2018 ceremony at IFEMA, The Panorama Awards needed a fast-to-deploy, high‑quality staging display for a rental/staging setup. Planar Systems supplied the Leyard CarbonLight CLI Series LED video wall (CLI2.6), delivered and installed by partner Power AV to meet tight build and teardown requirements.

Power AV installed a 6 m x 3.5 m Leyard CarbonLight CLI video wall in a 12x7, 2.6 mm configuration; Planar Systems’ lightweight carbon-fiber design and quick-mount bracketry reduced assembly time and costs, making the rig competitive for rental events. The result was a successful gala attended by more than 500 guests, with the Planar Systems Leyard CarbonLight screen becoming the predominant stage element and earning praise for image quality and operational efficiency.
