The Advisory Board Company, a research and consulting firm serving global enterprises in healthcare and higher education, needed a striking, multi-function visual anchor for the members’ area of its Washington, D.C. conference center to present meeting-specific information, branding, live feeds and classroom overflow content. They selected Planar Systems’ Clarity Matrix Video Wall (Clarity Matrix) to meet the challenge of integrating a high-impact display into a unique slate-surround architectural installation while supporting varied dynamic content and reliable operation.

Planar Systems supplied a 12x2 Clarity Matrix MX55HDS array (24 panels) with G2 Architecture, ultra-thin 5.5mm tiled bezels, sub-4" depth, remote rack-room components (over 100 ft) and two CAT5 terminations per display; panels arrived factory-calibrated and required less than one day for final onsite color balancing. The installation delivered 800-nit brightness, 3500:1 contrast and 1920x1080 resolution, enhanced member engagement with customized meeting displays and live content, simplified maintenance, reduced cooling and installation costs (saving thousands in labor/materials), and reinforced The Advisory Board Company’s image as technologically forward-thinking.
