Sunset Presbyterian Church - Customer Case Study

Sunset Presbyterian Church, a 120,000 sq. ft. house of worship in Beaverton, OR with regular Sunday attendance over 1,000, needed a modern way to inform and engage parishioners, visitors and event renters across its large campus while improving check-in, scheduling and children’s safety. To address this, the church turned to Planar Systems, deploying Planar PS Series and EP Series large-format displays and Planar PT Series touch screen monitors.

Planar Systems integrated the displays with Apple AirPlay/AppleTV and the Planning Center scheduling system, and connected PT touchscreens to Fellowship One and label printers for personalized name tags. The solution reached over 1,500 people weekly, increased awareness of events (including mobile app launches and volunteer opportunities), improved daily calendar visibility, enabled attendance tracking and enhanced security for 200+ children — outcomes the church credits to Planar Systems’ products and support.
