South Florida Hotel, one of Florida’s newest properties, needed a bold visual statement to stand out in a crowded hospitality market and to suit its tall, glass‑filled lobby. The hotel partnered with Planar Systems and chose the Planar Mosaic Architectural Video Wall to deliver a unique, high‑tech centerpiece that would attract attention inside and from the street.

Planar Systems installed a four‑story tower of 55‑inch Planar Mosaic panels (AD55‑Vincent) in a vertical herringbone pattern, producing a 5,000 × 15,000‑pixel canvas of razor‑sharp HD content (each panel synchronized via BrightSign XD230 players), with 800 nits brightness and automatic dimming. The Planar Systems solution — including remote power supplies to reduce failure risk, Mosaic Mounts for fast servicing, and the Mosaic Ensemble package — created the tallest Planar Mosaic installation in use, dramatically boosting lobby visibility while simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.
