Samtec, a global electronics manufacturer headquartered in New Albany, Indiana, needed a way to showcase its mission and let visitors and employees explore tiny, complex products in an engaging, interactive format. To meet that challenge Samtec worked with Planar Systems to deploy an interactive video wall using Planar’s Clarity Matrix MultiTouch LCD Video Wall solution.

Planar Systems installed a 5x3 array of fifteen 55" Clarity Matrix MultiTouch (MX55HDS-L-ERO) panels with Planar ERO, delivering a 9600 x 3240 (>8K) total resolution, 32 simultaneous touch points, 800 nits brightness and a 5.5 mm tiled bezel. Off-board electronics and hands-on support from Planar improved reliability, cooling and serviceability, while the touch-enabled content lets users scale and view products inside-out—boosting visitor engagement, employee understanding and overall presentation quality with clearly measurable specs (15 panels, 9600x3240 resolution, 32-touch capability, 800 nits).
