SaskTel, the leading communications provider in Saskatchewan, wanted to make its retail stores more engaging to draw customers and boost sales. To achieve this, SaskTel installed Planar Systems Multi-Touch Widescreen displays (Model PT2285W) running XQ Interactive Retail software in three newly designed stores.

Planar Systems delivered a durable, projected-capacitive touch solution with a sleek zero-bezel design that customers found familiar and easy to use; paired with the XQ software, the displays energized the in-store atmosphere, increased customer engagement and helped promote sales. The positive response has led SaskTel to plan roll-outs of the Planar Systems multi-touch solution to additional stores.
